I have a daughter named Ellie. Right now she is almost three years old. She has an excitement for life that is contagious. I am impressed with her ability to be herself and learn constantly. She isn’t afraid to fall and she gets right back up. She has no fear.

The message Ellie (and kids) have for you

  • Live life to the fullest every moment.
  • Get right back up after you fall down.
  • Don’t be afraid to speak your mind.
  • Laugh.
  • Jump on the bed.
  • Try new things.
  • Run around and play.
  • Dance.
  • Sing.
  • Smile.
  • Be very curious of everything around you.
  • Play in the water.
  • Hug people.
  • Run fast.
  • Have a big imagination.

My Friends: Do any of you have children? What have you learned from children? What do you think of my crazy three year old munchkin?

That’s so cute that she was asking you to jump on the bed with her. The ceiling definitely isn’t high enough for that. :P

  2. This demonstrates how we lose our innocence as we get older. We learn how to not to laugh so much, we lose our smile, and we stop dreaming. There has to be some point in time when we decide that somethings gotta give and take back our innocence and take back our passion, motivation, and desire to do something great in life. This is a great point you’re making here Jeremy.

    Thanks for sharing!!

Right on Jarrod – take back our innocence and take back our passion, motivation, and desire. Kids are so great at this. They just don’t have the mental blocks that we adults have.
