I enjoyed your first podcast. Have to admit, I couldn’t help think a little bit about the line “You’re good enough, you’re smart enough, and doggonit, people like you!”

You have a nice soothing voice.

I do love challenges, I don’t care what others think so much and I get a THRILL from failing. Fail enough, and you’ll get it right b/c we learn so much from failure.

    Best,

    Sam

Yeah – if anything, my self talk dialog now is making me hoist up more 3 pointers than ever before (before surgery – and I’m sure it will when I get back to playing), even if I’m not making them. I now just smile and say, “That’s okay, I’ll make the next one, time to play some D.”

I’m going to have to use the doggonit, people like you one in my next self talk podcast, I like that line.

Challenges are wonderful. The cool thing is that over time if you are persistent and dedicated and really learn from mistakes, success will be found at some level. It is just inevitable with enough failures and learning – and the positive self talk definitely helps :)

Glad you got use out of this Sam!
