One of the things I’ve wanted to do is personally drive a service project that creates something that can then be given to those people who are less fortunate. I’ve thought about doing a food drive to do this and today, me and my two girls are making flyers to pass around to apartments and houses near where I live here in Orem, Utah.
I think this little service project is going to be a lot of fun. We’re going to go find a Staples or something to print these off and then take them around personally around my neighborhood by knocking on doors and seeing if anybody answers. If they do, we’ll introduce ourselves and state what we are doing and if not, we’ll just put the flyer in their mailbox.
I think the most fun part will be distributing whatever food we get to those less fortunate. To do that, we’re going to drive to areas of town where we know there are those less fortunate around and just bring them the food personally. I can’t wait to see what happens!
Help Us Help Those In Need
Please leave 2 cans of food or any non-perishable (not refrigerated) items on your doorstep by Tuesday, November 25th, at 6:00 PM. We will then gather up this food and personally distribute it to those less fortunate for this Thanksgiving holiday season.
