There’s always two sides to something. Whatever it is you are talking about, there are going to be different thoughts and ideas on it besides your own. If you’re going to be a life wizard, it means you’re going to have to accept that even the things you feel most passionate about and believe fervently also have a segment of people who believe the opposite or something else entirely.
At this stage of my life, I believe people are free to believe whatever they want and I am at peace with my ignorance to what reality is, even with all the stabs I’ve taken to try and understand it. Here’s an example of the different perspectives people have. To do this, I’m going to look at the YouTube comments for a famous video of a 5 year old who cries because she doesn’t want to die and doesn’t want her baby brother to grow up.
She’s devastated by this. Some recognize her genuine fear of death and how being mortal as humans is a challenge we recognize at a young age. The other side to this is those who look at her as just a cranky young child who is probably up past her bed time and just needs to sleep and wake up tomorrow, probably forgetting everything she was worried about. Here’s some of the comments (Video Link Here):

Regardless of how you believe. It’s the different sides to things that keeps a balance among us as people and in order to influence people – in order to be an effective leader, you must recognize the different beliefs and perspectives of people and honor them as you try and work for a common cause and vision.
